“ Wow just amazed as I'm gluten free and at last-minute they provided for us (4 people) I didn't feel that I missed out at all despite my allergies everything was delish & everyone so friendly even met Manager Shez who is a lovely person! Nothing was too much trouble felt like a home from home. Whether you have allergies or not this place I highly recommend! ”

“ What an absolute Gem of a place, we only googled it last minute as we wanted something similar to a beefeater. Superb staff, superb food, humongous portions. They went completely out their way to accommodate us. We live over an hour away near Paddock Wood but we shall definitely return very soon. 10/10. ”

“ Really enjoyed this pub, mainly for the good vibes inside. From the outside and inside, there isn’t anything that majorly stands out looks wise. However, the staff were friendly, the owner was really kind and the the resident dog made it feel more homely... It was decent pub grub, I enjoyed my steak and ale pie :). The owner even waved us off when we left... you don’t get that at your average town bar/pub. Note: There is pool and darts area available and seating / small kiddy area outside as well decent amount of parking. ”
“ Five Stars for Kyle and the Team at Lesters :) We had a truly exceptional experience at Lesters restaurant tonight, and a huge part of that was down to the fantastic service we received from Kyle and the entire team. From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel incredibly welcome and well looked after. Kyle and the team was particularly attentive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed without being intrusive. The A-Team clearly takes pride in the restaurant and the dining experience. Beyond the outstanding service, the food was also a highlight. We especially enjoyed the lovely Meal from a starter of garlic bread with cheese. To my mums fish special which was fresh and cooked to perfection. My hunters chicken which the serving staff changed to with beans for me was absolutely delicious, and the pudding of a scrumptious carrot cake was the icing on the cake. Thankyou to the Chefs aswell in the kitchen. The entire atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting, and the attentiveness of the staff, led by Kyle, truly elevated our evening. We left feeling completely satisfied and impressed. Me and my Mum also learned about Lester Piggot and the relationship with the name of the pub and restaurant and Frank Thorley aswell. We highly recommend Lesters to anyone looking for delicious food and truly exceptional service. Thank you, Kyle and team, for a wonderful meal! We will definitely be returning again. “ A huge thank you to Lesters for a truly wonderful dining experience! From the moment my mum and I walked in, Kyle, Krystal, and Emma made us feel incredibly welcome. Their attentiveness, friendliness, and genuine hospitality were outstanding – they went above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect evening. My Mum had the fish special(Scampi) which was a fantastic deal including tea and dessert. We shared a delicious carrot cake with cream for dessert. I opted for the chicken breast with bacon barbecue sauce and cheese, served with chips and beans, which was absolutely delicious. My mum also thoroughly enjoyed her meal. To start, we shared the cheesy garlic bread, which was perfectly nice and crunchy. While the fish special itself was great, we were also impressed with the alternative suggestions when they had run out of the specific fish offering. Everything was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavour. We would highly recommend Lesters to anyone looking for a fantastic meal with top-notch service. We can't wait to come back!
